You need a special crochet, hairpin, which I doubt you can find in Europe or America. I bought this crochet from Russia. It is a very easy way to crochet with this, you have a lot of tutorials on Youtube and the rest is inspiration. You can put the layers horizontal or vertical and crochet between with same yarn or a different yarn for better result as I did with the skirt here: http://goo.gl/huoj5
You can find hairpin lace looms all over the place. There are also lots of online tutorials on how to make them. They're easy to use & can be used to make some gorgeous pieces. :)
